This Dave Sotogi Sudden Chances Print is big and beautiful. A stunning artwork, it features our beloved tui bird carrying a pounamu greenstone pikorua (twist) necklace. The Maori Pikorua twist design signifies true love or friendship between two people. The Koru within the twist signifies peace, tranquility, new beginnings, and positive change.

The Tui, also called the parson bird because of the white plume on its throat, is one of our most well known and loved native birds. It has an incredible singing range, and is able to mimick other birds and even humans!

Down one side of the print is a gorgeous Maori kowhaiwhai pattern.

The print is a canvas inside a floating frame.

Dimensions of the frame are approximately 65cm x 84cm x 4cm (25 5/8' x 33' x 1 5/8').

About the artist: Dave Sotogi (signed deSotogi) is of Samoan descent, but born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. He transitioned from a decade working in graphic design, to fine art. Dave pushes his repertoire, continually crossing bravely between abstract subjects and more tightly composed imagery, leading to his body of work appealing to a wide audience.
