This NZ Maori Roimata Koru Wooden Sculpture or Trophy is a lovely piece to give, and for many reasons.
The cutout Koru is symbolic of peace, tranquility, new beginnings and personal change.
The Roimata (tear drop shape) is a symbol of comfort, showing love and empathy for someone going through a challenging time. Traditionally the Roimata was given at a time of loss, to show sympathy and reassurance. With the cutout Koru, it becomes a symbol to recognise challenging times and give encouragement for the future.
The Roimata Koru Sculpture is made from Pacific Rimu (Podocarp), and proudly made in New Zealand.
